Our Story
In the picturesque region of West Peloponnese, where the sun-kissed hills met the azure waters of the Ionian Sea, there stood a timeless olive farm estate that had flourished for generations. This remarkable story began four generations ago when a great grandad John took the first steps toward creating a legacy that would span the ages. He arrived at the estate with little more than a dream and a deep reverence for the olive tree. With the Peloponnesian soil under his fingernails and the wisdom of centuries-old traditions in his heart, he planted the very first olive tree, a symbol of hope and continuity. As the years passed, he watched those saplings grow into sturdy trees, their silvery leaves shimmering in the Mediterranean breeze.
Four Generations
John shared his love for olive cultivation with his son, Simon, who, under John's watchful eye, the estate expanded, and more olive trees were planted. He passed down the invaluable knowledge of tending to the trees, explaining the significance of proper pruning, soil nutrition, and the importance of timing the harvest just right to ensure the finest olive oil.
As time flowed like the nearby river, it was Simon's son, Dinos, who took up the mantle. Under his guidance, the estate continued to thrive. Dinos modernized some of the farming practices, introducing efficient irrigation systems while still respecting the centuries-old techniques that had been handed down through the generations.
Now, the estate was entrusted to the capable hands of Andreas, the great-grandson of John, who promised to carry forward the family's passion and tradition. He knew that to maintain the quality and heritage of their olive oil, he had to blend the old ways with modern knowledge.
Legacy of Love
The olive groves have been overseen and maintained with love, guided by the wisdom passed down through four generations. Modern farming practices, as well as latest technological advances have been used to ensure the health of the trees. Emphasis has been also given to importance of sustainable agriculture, preserving the land, and ensuring that future generations would continue this cherished legacy.
The estate remained a symbol of dedication, love for the land, and a testament to the enduring connection between family and trees at the family estate in West Peloponnese. As the olive trees bore fruit year after year, they told the story of a family's unwavering commitment to their roots, their heritage, and the precious golden liquid that was the essence of their land – olive oil, nurtured from the hands of Great Grandad to the tender care of his great-grandson.
